Week 2: Physical Rebuild

WEEK 2

The PEMMS Framework Deep Dive

Understanding the 5 Pillars of a Man’s Life

Now that you know where you are, it’s time to define where you’re going. Your North Star isn’t just a goal – it’s a compass. It’s the version of yourself that pulls you forward when motivation disappears and discipline is all you have left.

What is PEMMS?

PEMMS is the framework we use to map every area of your life that matters:

  • P – Physical: Your body, health, movement, energy, sleep, recovery
  • E – Emotional/Mental: Your inner world, thought patterns, emotional regulation, mindset
  • M – Money: Financial literacy, income, abundance mindset, financial freedom
  • M – (Mental is grouped with Emotional above)
  • S – Spiritual: Purpose, connection, meaning, something bigger than yourself

Most programs only address one pillar. You get a fitness program OR a mindset course OR financial coaching. The Resilience Rebuild addresses all of them because they’re all connected. Your body affects your mind. Your finances affect your stress. Your purpose affects your discipline.

Defining Your North Star

Your North Star is a clear, present-tense statement of the man you’re becoming. Not who you wish you were. Not a fantasy. A real, specific, achievable vision that you’re actively building toward.

Write your North Star statement across each PEMMS pillar:

  • Physical: “I am [specific physical state]…”
  • Emotional/Mental: “I am [specific emotional/mental state]…”
  • Money: “I am [specific financial state]…”
  • Spiritual: “I am [specific spiritual state]…”

Identifying Your Gaps

Using your Week 1 audit, identify the biggest gaps between where you are now and your North Star in each PEMMS pillar. These gaps become your focus for Weeks 3–6.

The Rebuild Journey: From Breakdown to Strength

The Resilience Rebuild framework takes you through a structured process:

  • Breakdown → Stability: Stop the bleeding. Get your foundations in place.
  • Stability → Strength: Build capability. Develop discipline. Create systems.
  • Strength → Self-Mastery: Integration. Living in alignment. Becoming unshakable.

This Week’s Actions

  • Write your North Star statement for each PEMMS pillar
  • Identify your top 3 gaps (the biggest areas needing work)
  • Set your non-negotiables – the daily standards you will not compromise on
  • Share your North Star with the group on the weekly call
  • Begin your daily reflection practice (5 mins morning, 5 mins evening)

Key Principle

“Empowerment over enabling. Capability over comfort.”

This program isn’t here to make you feel good. It’s here to make you capable. There’s a difference. Comfort is temporary. Capability is permanent.

[VIDEO PLACEHOLDER: Record a video explaining the PEMMS framework in detail – use your whiteboard or a visual diagram. Show how the pillars connect and why addressing all of them matters.]
